Marking the 137th anniversary of President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, participants spoke about the significance of the occasion and of President Lincoln. An actor portraying President Lincoln then gave the Gettysburg Address. Mr. Hill sang “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

The master airing does not include Chester Byers’s introduction of Professor McPherson at the beginning of the program but does include his introduction of Governor Whitman. close
