Dr. Dertouzos discussed his new book, The Unfinished Revolution: Human-Centered Computers and What They Can Do for Us, published by HarperCollins. In his book, Mr. Dertouzos asserts that the Information Revolution is “unfinished” because it does not yet live up to its potential -- a world filled with machines that fulfill real human needs on human terms. He thinks we accept the limitations and frustrations of technology too readily and he advocates the development of computers that better serve people by adapting to our needs. After his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
