Measures Introduced: Eight bills and one resolution were introduced, as follows: S. 560-567, and S. Con. Res. 26.

Campaign Finance Reform: Committee on Rules and Administration was discharged from further consideration of S. 27, to amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to provide bipartisan campaign reform, and the Senate then began consideration of the bill, taking action on the following amendment proposed thereto:
