JOURNAL PROCEEDINGS POSTPONED - The Speaker put the question on agreeing to the Journal of Wednesday, March 28, by voice vote and announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. McNulty objected to the voice vote pending the absence of a quorum. The Speaker subsequently postponed further proceedings on the Journal until later in the day and the point of no quorum was withdrawn. 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. McNulty to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 

ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The Speaker recognized Mr. Weldon of Florida for a one minute speech and announced that additional one minute speeches will be postponed until the end of the legislative day.

ORDER OF PROCEDURE - Ms. Pryce asked unanimous consent to modify the amendment recommended by the Committee on Ways and Means to H.R. 6, as reported, now printed in the bill H. Rept. 107-29. Without objection the modification was agreed to.
