Brian Mitchell, author, discussed his book, Weaklink: The Feminization of the American Military. He responded to the thought of women having a role in the military. He believed that women are needed in the military, but not for jobs that require a male’s strength such as infantry and firefighting. He felt that the presence of women mitigates the effectiveness of discipline and lowers the traditional standards of quality and efficiency. His viewpoint is controversial and he was described as sexist and chauvinistic by some callers. close
