The Women’s National Democratic Club’s mission was to provide a forum where democratic opinions were discussed to provide an environment of education, service, and political action. The speakers addressed how women could influence issues in a democratic way so that the public’s interest is best served. They described how women could be strong advocates for their special needs and interests. The history of women’s activism was traced as a background for making plans for the future. close
