Karen Chiao and Mariellen O' Brien discussed the book they co-wrote, Spies' Wives: Stories of CIA Families Abroad, published by Creative Arts Book Company. The authors were both married to CIA agents and they share anecdotes from spouses and former spouses of CIA agents. The authors have collected the stories of thirty women whose experiences include living under “deep cover,” encounters with unfamiliar customs and traditions, secret meetings and love affairs. The event ends with a brief question and answer period. close
