Daniel Robb talked about his book, Crossing the Water: Eighteen Months on an Island Working With Troubled Boys-A Teacher’s Memoir. The author spent a year and a half at Penikese Island School off the coast of Massachusetts, working as a teacher. The school is an alternative juvenile detention center for those youths convicted by courts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. During the presentation, the author shows slides of his time on the island and then answered questions from members of the audience. close
