Guests described the nation’s logistical support center for wild land firefighting and how a wildfire is contained. They also responded to audience telephone calls. Taped vignettes were shown of the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho and of a tour of the fire line of the Green Knoll Fire near Jackson, Wyoming. Firefighters at the Green Knoll Fire demonstrated how they contained this 4,470-acre fire, and showed various aspects of the fire camp. close
