New York political leaders and leaders of several different religions in the U.S. conducted a prayer service in Yankee Stadium for victims and families of those killed or missing in the September 11,2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Religious leaders represented Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and Hindu faiths. The ceremony also featured both sacred and patriotic music. close
