During a panel discussion held at the Brookings Institution participants talked about U.S. military efforts in Afghanistan and international efforts to combat terrorism. Among the topics they addressed were the propaganda campaign in South Asia, efforts to build and maintain international coalitions, and public attitudes toward counter-terrorist efforts. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
