The House agreed to the Senate amendment to H.R. 555. to amend the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940 to improve and clarify the protections provided by that Act, to clarify veterans' reemployment rights, and to improve veterans' rights to reinstatement of health insurance. The House completed all debate on H. Res. 88, condemning Cuba’s human rights violations, and commending the United Nations Human Rights Commission for its attention to the human rights situation in Cuba. close
