Thomas Larsson discussed his book The Race to the Top: The Real Story of Globalization, published by Cato Institute. In the book, Mr. Larsson argues against the view that globalization causes an international “race to the bottom.” Instead, he said, the popularity of the anti-globalization forces around the world is creating a “race to the bottom in the global marketplace of ideas.” Commentary was provided by Adrian Wooldridge. Both speakers answered questions following their remarks. close
