Ambassadors Aminu, Yang, and Logoglu, representing the global breadth of the 29 country coalition, made remarks about the global efforts to combat terrorism. Then, President Bush outlined his war on terrorism during a ceremony marking the six-month anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the U.S.
The ceremony took place on the South Lawn of the White House with a backdrop featuring a high school choir, military personnel, and the flags of nations participating in the coalition to combat terrorism. Before the ambassadors introduced the president, the Boys Choir of Harlem sang “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.” close
