Sarah Brady talked about her autobiography, A Good Fight, published by Public Affairs. Sarah Brady’s husband, James Brady, was critically injured in 1981 during an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan. Some years later, she presided over passage of a handgun control law known as the Brady Bill. In this autobiography Mrs. Brady tells the story behind these news events and about her life before and after the shooting, including her fight with lung cancer. close
