Mr. Goldsmith talked about his new book, Putting Faith in Neighborhoods: Making Cities Work Through Grassroots Citizenship, published by Hudson Institute Publications. In the book, the author uses Indianapolis as the model to explain how cities can cultivate vibrant learning centers through promotion of citizenship and faith-based organizations. Mr. Goldsmith asserts that such undertakings by concerned and motivated citizens are more successful than those led by government-run programs. After the presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
