Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill spoke at Georgetown University about his recent trip through Africa with rock performer Bono. He talked about the economic conditions in Africa, primary education enrollment, health conditions, and the need for targeted and efficient foreign aid. He also talked about developing local infrastructures to provide clean water, AIDS prevention, and issues of local leadership. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
