Mr. Severgnini talked about his memoir, Ciao, America! An Italian Discovers the U.S., published by Broadway Books. Mr. Severgnini is an Italian newspaper columnist. The book covers the year that he and his wife spent living in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C., and differences he noticed between his life in Italy and life in America. During the program he told stories about experiences and lessons learned about the country as he immersed himself into American culture.
