Representative Bob Barr (R-Georgia), now in his 4th term in the U.S. Congress, and Representative John Linder (R-Georgia), now in his 5th term in the U.S. Congress, participated in a debate. On Tuesday, August 20, Georgia voters will select a Republican nominee in the newly formed 7th Congressional district, which includes portions of the Barr and Linder districts. As a result of congressional redistricting, Georgia is one of several states where incumbent members of Congress are vying for a single seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. close
