Adrian Wooldridge discussed the book he co-wrote, "The Company: A Short History of a Revolutionary Idea". Mr. Wooldridge asserts that, creating a business entity with some of the rights and characteristics of a person allowed insolvent governments to secure the capital necessary for ventures such as imperialism. Daniel Yergin, author of "The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money and Power", then commented on Mr. Wooldridge’s book. Following the presentations both panelists responded to questions from the audience, moderated by Brink Lindsey. close
