He described Turkey’s involvement in the Persian Gulf War as a member of the allied coalition. He talked about the psychological effects of the war on his country as well as the military and economic effects. The future of Iraqi Leader Saddam Hussein and the current Iraqi government was discussed. President Ozal is in Washington, DC to work on Turkish-American relations with Pres.
