Anatomy of Greed

Mr. Cruver, a former senior manager at Enron, discussed his new book Anatomy of Greed: The Unshredded Truth From an Enron Insider, published by Carroll and Graf Publishers. Citing his days spent at the former energy corporation, he argues that the company hired and fired at a rapid pace in order to find the best and brightest candidates in their fields. He also explains how the company that began as a small-scale natural gas provider eventually became a major global player trading in abstract commodities. After the presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
