Mr. Zeder explained the opportunities for U.S. business in the reconstruction of Kuwait. His office, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been overwhelmed by contacts from companies wanting contracts and people seeking jobs. Mr. Zeder heads the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) which is a government corporation charged with assisting U.S. investors overseas by providing investment information, financing, and risk insurance. He has been serving in this position since August 1989. close
