Ms. Bardach, author of Cuba Confidential: Love and Vengeance in Miami and Havana, published by Random House, and Ms. Sweig, author of Inside the Cuban Revolution: Fidel Castro and the Urban Underground, published by Harvard University Press, held a discussion titled “Cuba Exposed.” Together they discussed the history of Cuba under the leadership of Fidel Castro and Cuba’s role in today’s global politics. They also took questions from members of the audience on topics that included the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis and the possible role of Fidel Castro’s brother, Raoul, in the inevitable regime change. close
