Mr. Maher talks about his book When You Ride Alone You Ride with bin Laden: What the Government Should be Telling Us to Help Fight the War on Terrorism, published by New Millenium Press. In it, the author criticizes the current government administration for what he calls token gestures. The book is filled with posters based on World War II-era war posters designed to draw comparisons between the War on Terrorism and World War II. Mr. Maher claims that the uninformed general public has made efforts in gesture, but has yet to make real sacrifices. At this event, the author answered questions from members of the audience on a variety of issues discussed in his book. close
