Richard Rodriguez talked about his book “Brown: The Last Discovery of America,” published by Viking Penguin. In it, the author explores what “the browning of America” means for our society. He goes on to look at various manifestations of the color brown, ultimately making the argument that “Hispanics are becoming Americanized at the same time that the United States is becoming Latinized.”
