Kathleen Dalton talked about her book, Theodore Roosevelt: A Strenuous Life, published by Alfred A. Knopf. In her book, Ms. Dalton presents Roosevelt as a man who, though flawed, was always learning and was far ahead of his time as a crusader for the environment and social justice. She talks about Roosevelt’s fight against the influence of big business and his relationship with Sierra Club founder John Muir. Following her presentation, Ms. Dalton responded to questions from members of the audience. close
