On Friday, January 17th, Mr. Sharpton visited a Concord, New Hampshire diner and St. Anselm’s College in Manchester. The visits occurred prior to his announcement that he would seek the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

On Wednesday, January 22nd Sen. Lieberman visited a Manchester restaurant and spoke to local Democrats at a house party in Salem. This marked his first visit to New Hampshire since formally entering the presidential race earlier in the month. 

New Hampshire is scheduled to host the first-in-the-nation presidential primary in January, 2004. close
