Arundhati Roy talked about her book, An Ordinary Person’s Guide to Empire, published by South End Press. Topics included the recent elections in India, the war in Iraq, neoliberalism, and the role of non-governmental organizations. She criticized President George Bush’s foreign policy. Following her remarks, Ms. Roy answered questions from members of the audience. Ms. Roy won the Booker Prize in 1997 for her novel, The God of Small Things. close
