Authors James Moore and Wayne Slater talked about their book Bush’s Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush Presidential, published by John Wiley and Sons. Mr. Rove, White House Senior Advisor, is a consultant who the authors argue, has more power than anyone in his position before him. The authors believe that Mr. Rove has as much influence as any cabinet level official. In order to find out more about this presidential consultant, the authors conducted more than 100 interviews with colleagues, friends, and foes of Karl Rove, as well as Karl Rove himself. After the presentation the authors answered questions from members of the audience. close
