Senator John Warner and Lt. General Jay Garner(RET.) talked with reporters after a closed meeting of the Senate Armed Services Committee regarding Iraq. General Garner, the former director of U.S. occupational forces in Iraq, had briefed committee members about his mission and how well he carried it out. General Garner said his greatest concern is the debt structure facing Iraq. He also talked about the professionalism of U.S. troops during the Iraq war. close
