Representative Donald Payne (D-New Jersey), ranking member of the House International Relations Subcommittee on Africa, talked about U.S. policy towards Liberia and President George W. Bush’s administration plans to send military troops to that country. Rep. Payne introduced a resolution last week for the U.S., the United Nations, and other countries to deploy an international stabilization force to Liberia and provide emergency humanitarian relief. He also responded to viewer comments and questions. close
