Mr. Harvey talked about the challenges facing America, the country’s future, news headlines, and current events. He stressed that freedom and self-government require self-discipline, and warned against excesses. However, he was optimistic about the future of the nation, and urged that the United States lead the world by example. Following prepared remarks, Mr. Harvey responded to questions from the audience.
