White House Correspondent for the Washington Post, Mike Allen, talked about allegations that White House officials had leaked the name of CIA agent Valerie Plame to several journalists. Some critics of the Bush administration claimed that the leak was intentional, and was designed to punish Plame’s husband, former U.S. ambassador Joseph Wilson, for his vocal criticism of the administration’s interpretation of intelligence data on Iraq. Mr. Allen responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail. close
