Telephone lines were open for viewer comments. Representative Pomeroy spoke via telephone about the selection and dedication of North Dakota’s second statue in Statuary Hall, Sacagawea. A Shoshone, she served as a guide and translator for the Lewis and Clark expedition. The statue would be placed in the Rotunda later in the day. Scenes of the statue were shown. close
