The 50th anniversary dinner of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) opened with the presentation of the colors and the Pledge of Allegiance. A videotaped message from President George W. Bush was shown. A video presentation of ISI’s history was shown. Other speakers talked about the history and goals of the conservative movement. On behalf of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, Mr. Bramwell presented William F. Buckley with the C.H. Hoeflich Lifetime Achievement Award. Buckley was ISI’s first president. After the presentation Mr. Buckley gave an acceptance speech. close
