James Bovard talked about his book Terrorism and Tyranny: Trampling Freedom, Justice and Peace to Rid the World of Evil, published by Palgrave Macmillan. He criticized President Bush for a lack of humility after the September 11 attacks. He disagreed with the decision to begin a war with Iraq, saying that the administration and Congress were too impulsive. He was most concerned with loss of personal liberty and privacy through the U.S. Patriot Act. He also talked about the Israeli-Palestinian crisis. close
