Mr. Levitas talked about his book, The Terrorist Next Door: The Militia Movement and the Radical Right, published by Thomas Dunne Books. In the book, the author examines domestic terrorist groups, including neo-Nazis, white supremacists, right-wing militias, and others. He argues that, with attention focused on preventing another September 11-style terrorist attack from abroad, domestic terrorist organizations may not be receiving a sufficiently high level of scrutiny from law enforcement. Mr. Levitas responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail. close
