Ken Auletta talked about his life and his writings. He also responded to telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail from viewers. He is best known for his books and articles about journalism and the information age. He has written the “Annals of Communication” column and profiles for The New Yorker since 1992. He is the author of eight books, including a new book, Backstory: Inside the Business of News. His previous books are [World War 3.0: Microsoft and Its Enemies; The Highwaymen: Warriors of the Information Superhighway; Three Blind Mice: How the TV Networks Lost Their Way; Greed and Glory on Wall
