Lori Wallach talked about her book Whose Trade Organization?: A Field Guide to the World Trade Organization, published by New Press. She talks about the creation of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the trade agreements the organization enforces. Ms. Wallach argues that the biggest international trade agreements supported by the U.S. have very little to do with actual trade and do little to improve the lives of the general population in any country. In her talk, Ms. Wallach also discussed careers in public service. Ms. Wallach answered questions from members of the Everett Public Service Internship Program following her remarks. close
