Journalists talked about their craft and the challenges of covering news in Washington. Howard Means, Senior Editor of Washingtonian Magazine, described the reaction to his recent article entitled, “Next, Kill all the Journalists.” Mr. Means spoke about the status and image of journalists in Washington. Joseph Goulden, Director of Analysis for Accuracy in Media, expressed criticism of the professional courtesies Washington journalists extend one another.
