On the first anniversary of the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) and Rep. Jim Turner (D-TX) talked about the state of homeland security. They praised the work of the department’s employees and the positive steps that had been taken, but voiced concerns that the level of resources and attention dedicated to homeland security was insufficient.
