Dr. Goldman talked about federal policy regulating lead in drinking water. The Environmental Protection Agency recently asked states to investigate the lead levels in drinking water, especially in schools, following Washington DC’s experience with elevated levels of lead in its water. Dr. Goldman was EPA Assistant Administrator in the Clinton Administration, 1993-98.
