French President Jacques Chirac and British Prime Minister Tony Blair spoke to bilingual university students in Paris on Sunday, May 9, 2004. They answered questions on the European constitution, religious freedom and public schools, and the transfer of sovereignty in Iraq. The event for French and British students was on Europe Day, a holiday that marks the first steps toward formation of the European Union.
