The subcommittee heard testimony from Supreme Court Justices Scalia and Breyer. Both men once served on the Administrative Conference of the United States, a group that sought to streamline government procedures in order to improve efficiency and save taxpayer money. The Administrative Conference of the U.S. was created in 1968 and defunded in 1995. Congress is deciding whether to reauthorize the conference. close
