Peter Krass talked about his book, Blood and Whiskey: The Life and Times of Jack Daniel, published by Wiley. In the book, the author examines the life of distiller Jack Daniel, whose history and legacy have become surrounded by myth during the many years since his death. Mr. Krass used census records, as well as county and municipal archives, in his attempt to separate fact from fiction and create an accurate portrait of the original maker of one of America’s most famous whiskeys. Afterwards, Mr. Krass responded to questions and comments from the audience. close
