For its “Campaign Cam” contest C-SPAN invited high school and middle school students from across the country to produce a video documentary on current campaign issues. C-SPAN selected 45 winning videos from 700 entries. Students competed for prizes of up to $5,000. The C-SPAN Education Foundation funded this competition.
The 3rd prize winning videos from high school students were shown:
“Same-Sex Marriage in Oregon” by Brad Fish and Jovana Kamenko from Comcast in Hillsboro, Oregon; “Outsourcing” by Andrew Ghahramani from Comcast in Longmeadow, Massachusetts; “It’s the Environment Stupid,” by Michael Drachkovitch, Chris Kaye, and Sabrina Parke from Adelphia in Sherman Oaks, California; “Microchip,” by Erin La Plante and Alex Strand, from Charter in Mandeville, Louisiana' “Censorship,” by Stephen Lightner, Eric Anderson, and Ryan O’Hara from Adelphia in Richfield, Ohio; and “Fight for Equality,” by Jimmy Reed, Brian Levon, and Brian Mackenzie from Comcast in Bellevue, Washingto close
