Frederick Hess spoke about his book Common Sense School Reform, published by Palgrave Macmillan. He discusses the current state of American education with two authors that have written about similar topics, Abigail Thernstrom and Thomas Toch. In his book, Mr. Hess addresses the current challenges the school system faces and then proposes reforms that promote accountability and competition. After the discussion, all three authors answered questions from members of the audience. close
