Author Randall Robinson discussed why he left the United States and moved to the Caribbean. Mr. Robinson talks about the state of American culture and asserts that America has become a nation without empathy for foreign nations and peoples. He also gives his impressions of the recent revolt in Haiti, including America’s involvement in the departure of former President Jean Bertrand Aristide. The talk was the keynote address at the 30th anniversary gala of the Haymarket People’s Fund, held at the New England Aquarium. close
