Senate Select Intelligence Committee chairman Roberts announced the release of the committee’s report of a 12-month inquiry into pre-war intelligence on Iraq. Senator Roberts said that the U.S. intelligence community told the president, as well as the Congress and the public before the war, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction; and that the report says these assessments were wrong. Senator Rockefeller spoke about the bipartisanship of the inquiry. They answered reporters' questions. close
